Time has changed me, but not my love of quilts.



This picture of me wrapped up in vintage quilts was taken in 1980 for British Vogue by the incomparable Bruce Weber. The more recent picture, was taken by my husband Tim Geaney, who was Bruce's assistant way back in 1980, an amazing photographer in his own right. It was working for Bruce when I started loving and collecting quilts, and now, I am making my own, and helping others "go make their beds".

    Time has been so good to you my dear....you have a timeless look that never changes. Both of these pictures were amazing...I really think I like the one your husband took best!!

    Coloradolady was right when she said you were so talented. Besides, being young and lovely. My first visit to your post, but I will return as one of my great loves is quilts. I have several, but did not make any of them. I truly appreciate the work that goes into them. Great job.

    Suzanne at Colorado Lady sent me over to check out your sweet blog. She was right..your photos are wonderful. I love quilts..of all kinds, sizes and ages, and have "rescued" some really well loved quilts. Yours are just lovely and I can't wait to come back and see more.
